“ CASH ONLY! The fish camp is at the end of a long gravel road. They are open Thus, Fri & Sat from 4 until "about 8 or 8:30" according to one of the very friendly ladies that work there. We had flounder, oysters, clam strips, deviled crab, and popcorn shrimp. It was all good! Sodas are in the cans, but tea and water is refilled. You should try this place! ”
“ This is a traditional Southern fish camp and it lives up to that billing. Menu is simple - its focus is on fried fish and it does it well. Service is friendly; they make you feel like family which is another hallmark of a traditional fish camp. Nothing fancy - yes, food is served on Chinet plates but if that helps keep their costs down, more power to them because the prices are very reasonable for the amount and quality of food you get. A reviewer here complained about having to use plastic utensils - we had real silverware on our visit but we wouldn’t have been upset if we’d had plastic utensils because again, it’s a FISH CAMP. A warning - you should check your citified expectations at the door! Be sure to read about the history of the restaurant and the building and take a look at the gun on display at the cash register! (Don’t worry, it’s under glass and is inoperable - part of a crazy story you’ll read about.). Also, they don’t take credit cards so BRING CASH! But come on up and enjoy a delicious fried seafood platter! ”
“ This is a hidden gem, on the edge of Davison I believe, it's considered. I grew up going here, and loved it. Last night was my first time back in 5 years and I loved it. The right cook was cooking last night. I got my old time favorite, popcorn shrimp, salad and a baked potato. Reminded me of before. It's a country feel and a great old time fish camp. It's great to take the kids too. It's on an old school dirt road, don't let that fool you. Go check it out for yourself. ”
